THE SATIN DOLLZ
AUDITIONS
The Satin Dollz are expanding!
Seeking stunning and charismatic female advanced tap dancers and trained vocalists in Los Angeles, Paris, London, New York and Italy for special events, vintage festivals, and concerts with opportunities to perform internationally.
Compensation: competitive pay per gig plus travel, lodging and meals for out-of-town shows. Shows are booked on a gig-by-gig basis and flexible calendar with your schedule. Promotional (TV, radio, showcases) and charitable appearances (active military, veterans, etc) are voluntary.
Satin Dollz generally rehearse together once a week 2-3 hours with their country's respective dance and vocal captains. In-person training by our coaches, studio space, costumes, and adventures provided.
The Satin Dollz is a FUN group performing with renowned swing bands, social outings with the girls, pin up photo shoots, and being part of an international network of talented women.

2024 ITALY DIVISON
Accepting vocal video submissions now for sopranos, mezzo sopranos, and altos through September 18, 2024. Send link (youtube or vimeo) of video to dollfaceandco@hotmail.com including brief intro about yourself, what city you live in and two selections: 16 bars of an upbeat song and 16 bars of a ballad. Please title email "Italy Dollz (first and last name)." Jazz or standards preferred; no musical theatre songs please. Deadline to submit is Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Selected candidates will receive an invitation to an in-person callback for Wednesday, September 18, 2024 for 12pm in Rome.
Sono aperte le selezioni per cantanti -soprano, mezzo soprano e alto- tramite video selftape. Si accettando link (YouTube o Vimeo) da mandare a dollfaceandco@hotmail.com includendo una breve presentazione specificando la città di residenza attuale, più l’esecuzione di due brani: 16 battute (ad esempio strofa e ritornello) di un brano uptempo e 16 battute di una ballad. Inserire come oggetto email “Italy Dollz (nome e cognome)”. Sono preferiti standard jazz. No a brani tratti da musical. La scadenza per i video self tape è martedì 10 settembre 2024. Le cantanti selezionate riceveranno la convocazione per un provino in presenza a Roma mercoledì 18 settembre.
